About Us

Global Array Marketing, LLC is managed by people who have been working together for eighteen years.  We have gone through both professional and personal development, and we still love and respect each other...most of the time.

We all share a love for life, and we have a strong desire to help others achieve their goals in an ethical way.  We have first-hand experience with unethical business practices where we have been missinformed and dissapointed.

We have also been through all of the various aspects of setting up and running a small business.  We have entered into and associated with others who have entered into a business venture with great expectations.  Unfortunately, knowing about your business is not all you need to know.

For example, if you love coffee and want to own and operate a coffee shop, you learn all about roasting and brewing and flavor and types of coffee.  You go to work for a coffee shop and learn all about coffee.  Then you save up and buy a store and begin setting it up.  Gradually, you learn that there are so many other things, that have nothing to do with coffee, that you have to deal with.  Business structure, accounting, employees, suppliers, liscensing, accounting, and advertising all clamor for your attention.

You can try to do it all yourself, or, you can partner with people who have experience.  This is usually obvious when it comes to Tax Accounting...you need an CPA.  However, many small business owners approach the Internet in one of two ways.

Some chose to ignore the Internet.  They assume that their business is too small to be on the Web.  This might have been true ten or fifteen years ago, but today, more and more business is done on the Internet.  Mary Kay Ash once said that she had made a big mistake by focusing her Mary Kay Cosmetics business on women and ignoring the huge market for men.  Don't make the same mstake.

Others decide to do-it-themselves.  There are all kinds of "For Dummies" and "Idiots Guides" for everything on the Internet. There are also courses that can be taken at Community Colleges and Libraries.  That's great, but what does that have to do with coffee shops?  If you are not careful, you will  be spending time learning skills that will take you away from your business.

The point is that you can learn to build and promote a web site, but is that really what you want to do? You might also be able to change the oil in your car, but that is not where you time is best spent, unless your business is to change oil.  Hire someone else to take care of the things that don't relate to your business so that you can focus on your business.

The "Team"...

Mike Garver has been working with computers since the mid-1970's.  He has a Master's Degree in Business Organization and Human Resourse Management, and has owned and operated a consulting firm for ten years.  He has learned to build and promote web sites the hard way...by trial and error, and has helped many business owners to imporve and expand their businesses.

Judi Garver is an RN and Massage Therapist with a passion for health and wellness.  Judi has owned and operated several small businesses that focus on alternative medicine and healthy lifestyle.

Words from our clients...

Global Array Marketing was able to help us get up and running on the Internet very quickly. We saw the results in a few days, as our paper ads and brochures were coverted to web pages. This has made doing business so much easier and has attracted so much attention to our services.
